Florencio Carino Ragsac, Jr., the CBC missionary pastor to Gumaca Quezon, and Tanauan City, Batangas, is the only son of Florencio Ragsac, Sr. and the former Cresencia Carino. They had five children, and their son, Bebot, who was born on October 1, 1973, was their fourth child.

The Ragsac family lived in Villasis, Pangasinan, where Bebot’s parents were known to be kind and generous neighbors. Bebot’s parents were not only good; they were also God fearing people. They were committed to their religion and they raised up their children to be such also. Fortunately, the Ragsacs had a relative who belonged to the Southern Baptist Church. During Bebot’s pre-school years, this relative brought a lady Bible teacher in their neighborhood. Young Bebot sometimes joined the other children and listened to the Bible stories of that lady church worker.

Bebot studied and graduated at Lipay Elementary School. During these years, several Wesleyan missionaries began to come and visit their barangay. Through their ministry, one of Bebot’s sisters learned and accepted the true Gospel. Bebot, on the other hand, found the Bible classes as boring. He preferred to play with the other boys rather than study the Bible with the girls.

After graduating from elementary school, he then continued his education at Don Ramon E. Costales Memorial National High School. During this period of Bebot’s life, his eldest sister Annabelle, studied in Metro Manila and eventually became a CBC member. Concerned for her family’s salvation, she requested her pastor to conduct a Bible study for her family in Villasis, Pangasinan. CBC granted her plea and sent Franklin Daco to teach the Word of God.

Feeling that religion will rob him of his happiness, Bebot became indifferent to it. However, he was forced by his parents to attend the Bible studies in their home. As he unwillingly sat down and listened to the missionary worker, God removed his negative assumptions. Soon after, Bebot and the missionary became friends and he attended his Bible studies with much willingness to learn. Finally in January, 1990, Franklin confronted him about his need of salvation. Through this conversation, Bebot learned that his good works cannot save him, that he is a sinner bound for hell, and that Jesus will save him if he completely trusts in Him. Convicted and convinced, Bebot prayed the sinner’s prayer and received Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior.

After graduating from high school, Bebot enrolled at Central Luzon State University and took up Bachelor in Business Agriculture. While in college, he developed the habit of studying the Bible and sharing its truths to the people around him. He realized that proclaiming the Word of God is the noblest work. He also found out that this is the activity that gave him the greatest pleasure. So he envisioned that someday he would engage more in preaching the truths of the Precious Book.

After receiving his college diploma, Bebot worked for different companies for almost six years. While working, he served his local church in Villasis, Pangasinan as a song leader, Sunday school teacher, and a missionary helper. However, there were times when his secular job hindered him from serving the Lord. Thus, at this time, Bebot struggled in his heart whether or not working for a secular company was God’s perfect will for him.

Sometime in August, 2003, to give more time and focus to his ministerial training and ministerial tasks, he resigned from his job and went on in fulltime ministry. He served as a co-laborer of Pastor Luis Hitosis, Jr. in the Villasis, Pangasinan mission church for some time. Sometime in 2005, he was assigned to build up the new believers in the CBC mission outreaches in Concepcion, Tarlac and Gumaca, Quezon. Finally, in October, 2006, he was appointed to pastor the CBC mission church in Tanauan City, Batangas.

Pastor Bebot envisions to plant new local churches throughout his lifetime and he exhorts everyone to be faithful to one’s duty even when one’s efforts seem to be vain.
