Organization

  1. Vision - Preparing gospel ministers as teachers and preachers who will plant local churches throughout the nation and Asia.
  2. Purpose - To equip God called Christians with Biblical knowledge, servant heart, and ministerial skills working as fundamental Baptist gospel ministers.
  3. Philosophy - A combination of three major areas of Christian ministry, namely: 1) skills development in acquiring Biblical knowledge, 2) developing servant attitude through local church ministry service, and 3) inculcating secular work ethic by self-support or tent making techniques.
  4. Administration - The school is a ministry of Cornerstone Baptist Church. It is therefore under the authority of the Church Senior Pastor and church leadership. By the Church leadership authorization, the school affairs and interests shall be managed by a school council.

Degree Program

  1. Bachelor of Missions, a 4-year curriculum of academic Biblical education with 3 summers of ministerial field assignment.
  2. Female students are not required to take Pastoral Theology Courses.
  3. To finish the entire program, you are to take 3 courses per quarter for 12 quarter periods (or 4 academic years) with Comprehensive Exam at the last quarter and joining mission trips every summer for at least 3 summers.

Grade System

  1. CBMS will follow the numerical grading system in final course grade that will appear in the transcript of records as well as in all course works. To pass a course taken, a student must obtained a grade of 75%. To graduate a student must have a GWA of 75%.
  2. In the case of Comprehensive Review course there are only two possible grade results PASSED or FAILED.
  3. If a student failed to obtain a final grade of 75% in a course taken, then he or she must retake the same course until he or she passes.
